Jazz Ensemble is a premier extra-curricular activity comprising of the most talented saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and rhythm section members from Swansboro High. This auditioned group rehearses 3 times a week at the with additional sectionals masterclasses throughout the year. The Jazz Ensemble is the most public group of the entire band program and will have 7 to 10 performances throughout the year including participation in the Eastern District Jazz MPA.
