The Swansboro Marching Pirates is an academic program that is one of the premier student ensembles at Swansboro High School. This ensemble averages around 90-120 students each year and is composed of marching percussion, auxiliary percussion, colorguard, and marching winds. The Marching Pirates perform at all home football games, and two away games each year. This ensemble also participates in regional, and national competitions throughout the fall marching band season.
